The Editable Web: The web has split into two extremes: Social media platforms that are easy to use but restrictive and controlled by companies, and custom-built websites that give you full ownership and freedom, but are complex to manage. Yet there’s a third model: I call it “The Editable Web.” With svedit.dev and editable.website, developers can build websites, where the page itself is editable. Developers define structure and layout in code, so the author doesn’t have to worry about that anymore. Authors can simply edit live, structured content directly in the layout, effortlessly, while knowing they can’t break anything. The editing infrastructure (Svedit) becomes an integral part of your website (at runtime). This means that for your next website project, you might not need a Content Management System (CMS) anymore. As a developer, all you do is define content types and implement components (e.g. Figure) - they are editable by default. · 4:00PM (Booking)
